The Submarine Heritage Centre - HMS Trafalgar

Sponsorship Comments

The Morecambe Bay Branch of the Submariners Association has always had a very close relationship with the Ships company of HMS/M Trafalgar. Branch Secretary Craig Farebrother comments as Follows; " When we as a Branch were approached by a presentation team from the Barrow Submarine Heritage Collection, and we saw the quality of the paintings that had been completed at that time, the Branch voted unanimously to sponsor a painting for this collection. When advised that a commission had not yet been placed for the Nuclear Submarine Trafalgar, and due to our close relationship with this particular submarine, this is the painting our Branch chose to commission. Now that we have had sight of the completed painting we are more that pleased with the result."
