This is a limited first edition stamp cover to commemorate the Royal Navy's Centenary Year.

These covers mark the celebrations that took place at the Clyde Submarine Base - Faslane from the 28th May to the 4th June 2001.

This RN base has played host to 12 foreign submarines and many high ranking submarine dignitaries from nations around the world.
